3 Women’s Journeys Give Birth to a Movement

A Popular Faith-based Play seeks to Expand its Reach through Film

STEM, the faith-based play that opened to sold out crowds of over three thousand and toured successfully garnering laudatory reviews and several thousand supporters, is now, 12 years later, poised to launch itself as a movement. July 1, 2015 completed the “STEM the Movement” 60-day crowd funding campaign hosted by Indie Go Go and now STEM the Movement plans to increase its reach from thousands to millions using film to empower, uplift and encourage people through true life stories of deliverance.

STEM, which is an acronym for Saved, Tested, Edified, Manifested will continue its tradition of shedding light on under served issues such as domestic violence, molestation, rape, breast cancer, depression and body image shame. In this new iteration, as a movement, STEM will partner with for profit and non-profit groups expanding their message to include issues such as Alzheimer’s, menopause and navigating the new millennium blended family. Successful funding of STEM the Movement will help raise awareness about these important issues and make these stories of tragedy and triumph accessible to the masses as a reality based docu-dramedy.

STEM the Movement stars actors TV Blake, Maura Gale and Erin Sands. TV Blake is the COO of Already Gear, a branding company based out of Dallas, Texas. Maura Gale is a motivational Speaker, poet and author of Beyond Blessed and the Anointed Agenda, a Christian organizational tool. Erin Sands is the creator of the online political forum The Relevant Post and author of The Dunes, an inspirational faith-based book for personal growth. These ladies hope to continue the journey they began over twelve years ago and by doing so provide a path of healing and restoration for others.
